The prescription screwup. I get my pills monthly on a card
through the mail which makes my life a lot easier than running to the drugstore
constantly. But, I have learned to always check to make sure they put the pills
in: directly. Recently, I did not check and one of the medications was put in
incorrectly and I wondered why I was sick for a week. You always have to be
watching learning and on your toes. Thinking for yourself, what is making me
feel sick this week. Reviewing, journaling, it’s a constant battle of up and
down. But, you have to take responsibility for yourself. Always check.

Im an anomaly....
I’m an anomaly. I was diagnosed over 10 years ago and I’ve
always worried that I would pass my jeans on to my kids. I would always ask my
neurologist and I don’t think they knew the answer or weren’t sure at the time.
Last summer I went to a conference and I now am reassured by my doctor that I
was a one-time anomaly, they removed the cavernous angioma that was in the
brain stem in the pond teens the very worse location or one of the worst
locations and they were able to save my life. I just had an MRI to double check
and everything is clear. I am so thankful. I am so thankful that I did not cast
this gene on to my children. I don’t know for a fact that I think it’s more
common for it to be familial, which means it is passed on to the next
generation and it’s also common to have more than one cavernous angioma. All
the more reason to blog to help educate to make this my mission to help people
to know more about cavernous angioma was an all the related topics that go with
it. I cannot believe that my brain has been bleeding since I was eight and that
I am sitting here today at 62. So, I must do what I can to help others.

Before you are scheduled for surgery....
Before you are scheduled for surgery, I strongly suggest
that you do not answer your phone. People mean well by calling you but I found
that often they scared me by telling me stories that put ideas in my mind. So
please limit your phone calls to very special people who will say things that
are just encouraging and just concentrate on being calm and taking your mind
off what is ahead of you.

Ever since I had the surgery my back....
Ever since I had the surgery my
back and head and neck have hurt. The doctors have different theories why this
is, but all I know is it still hurts. I have tried acupuncture I use ice, I
have used a thermal for which is a heating pad which gives you moist heat which
can order online and I now get Botox every three months which helps a lot. And
also besides, It is getting better. It just takes a long time to heal from the
surgery.

I have been experimenting with glasses...
I have been experimenting with glasses and have discovered
that glasses make me dizzy and nauseous and give me vertigo. The Dr. has tried
to read make them for me, we have tried several different ways and it never
works out. Fortunately, I can wear a soft contact for my right. For my left eye
we were trying to contact that blocked out the part that gave me double vision
and it just didn’t work. So for now I am back to catching my left eye and
wearing a contact in my right eye. You will find for yourself that everything
takes time and you have to experiment with your situation to find out what
works for you.
Yesterday I had an Appointment
Yesterday, I had
an appointment with the therapist because I’m still working on posts traumatic
stress. After that, I went to stop at the store to pick up some things that I
already was feeling tired and a little dizzy. But I proceeded to the store and
looked for nightgown set etc. and the visual stimulation wears out but I wanted
to accomplish something. When I got back to the car by steering wheel was
locked and now I was tired. So I was frustrated and felt a little dizzy like I
said but I decided to keep myself together looked around to try to find someone
who could help me unlock did I steering wheel and sat in the car saw somebody
who fortunately came over and was able to show me how to unlock by steering
wheel. And after that I was able to zip home a little frustrated but I just
know I have to deal with the situations that come up remain calm even though
I’m truly frustrated but just deal with.
